Panelists and speakers grappled with the best way to respond to the needs and challenges of the moment from misinformation to security in virtual health. Sessions included case studies such as “MIDRC and Machine Learning for Rapid and Accurate Assessment and Treatment of Covid-19” with Guoying Liu, PhD (NIBIB) and Krishna Kandarpa, MD, PhD (NIBIB/NIH) and solution sessions.
Other panels focused on specific needs such as “The X-Factor - Collaborating Across the Eco System to Accelerate Innovations in Pediatric Care” with Omkar Kulkarni, MPH (Children’s Hispital LA), Micky Fokken, MSHA and Ronak Assadi, MPH (both from Children’s Health System of Texas) or “The Future of the Operating Room is Here: Leveraging Telemedicine to Solve Expertise Shortages and Bridge Safety Gaps” with Daniel Hawkins (Avail Medsystems) and our host Shahid Shah (medigy.com.)
